Airstream added a metal trim to the edges of their frameless windows in 1968. Airstream used the same windows in 1966 and 1967, but the trim was not available in those years. The original trim was stainless steel. Our aluminum version fits very nicely and can be polished to a shine if you so desired. This trim is for 1/8" glass.
Trim comes in 75" strips with square cut ends. Measure your glass to determine exactly how many strips you need for your project. You will need to cut it to length and miter the two lower corners using a metal snips or a miter saw.
The trim is attached to the glass with a small amount of clear silicone caulk as an adhesive.
