Description

Here is a great solution for those broken, damaged or missing Bargman L-100 & L-200 locks.  This retrofit kit replaces the entire L-100 or L-200 lock.  This kit includes 1 brushed stainless steel knob/lever lock, 2 brushed stainless steel cover plates, 2 Keys, 1 brushed stainless steel striker face plate and all necessary hardware as shown in the photos.  This kit is designed for 1-1/2” thick doors but can be used on slightly thicker or thinner doors. This kit does not require you to alter the original cutout in the entry door so an original Bargman L-100 0r L-200 lock can always be re-installed if you can find a good original lock.  The hole that the striker goes through in the door may need to be enlarged but this would not affect the appearance in any way.  This can be used on both right or left hand doors.  If you are not wanting to pay a crazy high price for an original Bargman L-100 or L-200 lock, this may be the solution for you.  Some of the parts included in this kit are custom made and if not already made, it may take up to 2 weeks to get them in.

Note: If your door has a cast aluminum frame (like some Airstreams), I would not recommend using this retrofit lock.  This retrofit kit will only work on locks with the 1" (short) strikers and WILL NOT work on the long (2-1/2" strikers.)
