Description

After 60 + years the entry step on your Spartan or Spartanette trailer is probably broken, missing, rusted out or just falling apart.  We are proud to offer this reproduction step which is built better than the original ones.  We used 3/16" galvanized plate steel and steel rivets to build these steps.  They are built almost identical to the original steps.  The galvanized steel will help resist rust and eliminate the need for painting.  However, if you want to paint the step it can be painted but you will need to properly prepare the galvanized steel so that paint will stick to it.  We have slightly modified the step the make it much easier to install.  The original ones were a real pain to install or remove.  We have bolted the rear angle iron on instead of riveting it so it can be removed to make installing the step much easier.  NOTE:  The original step brackets must be on your trailer and in good shape for these steps to work.
